Operational safety means: what are the failure modes? If the model produces wrong decisions, what is the financial impact? How do we detect failures? How do we respond? What is the incident history?

Governance safety means: is the model bias-checked? Is it compliant with regulations? Are we auditable? What happens if a regulator examines this program?

Example answer: The model has 99.2 percent uptime and has had one incident in the past six months where model drift caused performance degradation.
